Laura has called the Taber-Warner region home for more than 20 years.
Having served as a councillor with the Town of Taber from 2013 to 2017, Laura has an understanding of local priorities and is prepared to fight for those priorities in the Alberta Legislature. She knows Albertans want good healthcare, high quality education for their kids and good jobs.
As a lifelong volunteer, Laura is no stranger to working hard to support her community. Over the years she has dedicated her time to countless organizations including the Carseland Community Association and Agricultural Society where she was the first female president, the Taber and Community Adult Learning Society, the Alberta Library Trustees Association, the Taber Equality Alliance and Taber PRIDE. She has also spent more than 30 years as a local library volunteer.
Primarily a stay at home mom while raising her daughter, Laura has also worked for numerous local businesses. She currently works as a lab assistant at Lantic Inc. and serves as a marriage commissioner.
Laura is a mother of one and calls the Town of Taber home.
